SEE ALSO...

Rab 13 Antibody (8E8E2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Rab 13 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 13 antibody (8E8E2) is available as the non-conjugated format. Rab 13 protein plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in the movement of vesicles between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus, as well as in the transport of proteins to secretory vesicles. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating the secretion of proteins necessary for various physiological processes. Rab 13′s ability to regulate vesicle trafficking is underscored by interactions with specific effector proteins that mediate the docking and fusion of vesicles with target membranes. Notably, Rab 13 has been implicated in the regulation of exocytosis, which is essential for neurotransmitter release and hormone secretion, highlighting Rab 13′s importance in both neuronal and endocrine functions. With at least eight members identified in the Rab subfamily, each Rab protein, including Rab 13, is localized to distinct stages of membrane transport pathways, ensuring the precise delivery of proteins to their functional destinations within the cell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice for Western BlotThis antibody detects a band at the expected molecular weight in HeLa and C6 whole cell lysates. -SCBT QC

Rated 2 out of 5 by from no clear bandJust test the free sample and got lots of bands. No clear band at 25kDa.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked somewhat well on human skeletal muscleReceived a sample of Rab13 and used it on human skeletal muscle tissue, whole cell lysate. It had a lot of non-specific banding higher than the presumed target size of 25 kDa...although a band exactly at this size did appear, but was less intense than the non-specific noise.
