Pyrintegrin enhances survival of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) following enzymatic dissociation. Pyrintegrin is thought to enhance cell-ECM adhesion and activate integrin signaling. Pyrintegrin increases adhesion of hESCs to matrigel- and laminin-coated plates, but not to gelatin-coated plates.
