Psoralidin is a compound with cytotoxicity against stomach cancer cell lines. the compound has been Shown antibacterial activity against Shigella sonnei and S. flexneri. Shows strong antioxidant activity and inhibits PTP1B (tyrosine phosphatase 1B) activity. The compound has been shown to induce apoptosis in AIPC cells through inhibition of both constitutive and EGF-induced EGFR activation and simultaneously triggering SAPK signaling.
