Propylphosphonic anhydride solution is used in peptide synthesis and in the one-pot conversion of carboxylic acids into hydroxamic acids. Activation of the carboxyl group for hydroxyamidation and peptide coupling. Propylphosphonic anhydride solution functions as a catalyst during the production of organic compounds. Possessing strong acidic properties, it readily engages in reactions with diverse organic compounds such as esters, amides, and carboxylic acids, leading to the formation of novel products.
