QUICK LINKS

Propofol Glucuronide Methyl Ester is a methyl esterified metabolite of Propofol (sc-202774). Propofol is a phenol derivative that is suggested to modulate the sensitivity of capsaicin to the transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype-1 (TRPV1) receptor. TRPV1 is a capsaicin receptor that behaves as a non-selective cation channel that is mainly found in the sensory neurons, and specifically detects painful stimuli, low pH and heat.
