Propofol Glucuronide-d17 Methyl Ester is a precursor to labeled Propofol Glucuronide (sc-222192), a metabolite of Propofol (sc-202774). Propofol is a phenol derivative that is suggested to modulate the sensitivity of capsaicin (sc-3577) to the transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype-1 (TRPV1) receptor. TRPV1 is a Capsaicin receptor that behaves as a non-selective cation channel that is mainly found in the sensory neurons, and specifically detects painful stimuli, low pH and heat.
