Propargyl acrylate is a transparent, odor-bearing liquid that′s insoluble in water but dissolves in several organic solvents like acetone, ethanol, and dichloromethane. This acyclic diene is versatile in its reactivity, participating in a variety of chemical processes including addition, elimination, and substitution. Additionally, Propargyl acrylate can polymerize and crosslink with numerous monomers such as styrene and methyl methacrylate.
