PPARβ Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PPARβ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PPARβ (F-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor beta (PPARβ), also known as PPARδ, is a member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily and plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression related to lipid metabolism, inflammation, and cellular differentiation. PPARβ forms heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs) and binds to specific DNA sequences known as PPAR-response elements (PPREs), which is essential for the transcriptional regulation of target genes. This interaction is particularly important in tissues such as skeletal muscle and adipose tissue, where PPARβ influences fatty acid oxidation and energy homeostasis. PPARβ is involved in various physiological processes, including wound healing and the modulation of inflammatory responses, making PPARβ a significant target for therapeutic interventions in metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Anti-PPARβ antibody (F-10) versatility in multiple applications allows researchers to explore the diverse functions of PPARβ in various biological contexts.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with PPARβ (F-10): sc-74517?

Asked by: jerojero
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
