Poly(ethylene glycol) diacid, also known as PEG diacid, is a polymer derived from poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) that has carboxylic acid functional groups at both ends of the polymer chain. PEG itself is a polyether compound consisting of repeating units of ethylene oxide. By introducing carboxylic acid groups to the ends of PEG, PEG diacid is formed.
