Poly-β-Hydroxybutyric Acid (PHB) is a polymer composed of repeating units of 3-hydroxybutyric acid. Poly-β-Hydroxybutyric Acid is a thermoplastic polymer with properties similar to conventional plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
