PME-1 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PME-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PME-1 antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Protein phosphatase methylesterase-1 (PME-1) plays a crucial role in regulating protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity, a key enzyme involved in cell growth and division. PME-1 modulates PP2A activity through catalyzing demethylation, which is essential for maintaining proper cellular functions and preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation.
