(±) trans-2,5-Bis(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1,3-dioxolane is a selective and potent PAF-R (platelet activating factor receptor) antagonist of the diaryl tetrahydrofuran class. It has been reported to block LTP in field CA1 in rat hippocampus.
