PLEKHQ1 Antibody (SS-23) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PLEKHQ1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PLEKHQ1 antibody (SS-23) is available as a non-conjugated format. PLEKHQ1, also known as pleckstrin homology domain containing, family Q member 1, or PLEKHO2, is a 490 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in mediating protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions due to its pleckstrin homology (PH) domain. This domain is essential for various cellular processes, including signal transduction and membrane trafficking, making PLEKHQ1 important for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external stimuli. The gene encoding PLEKHQ1 is located on chromosome 15, which is significant as this location is associated with several genetic disorders, including Angelman and Prader-Willi syndromes, highlighting PLEKHQ1′s importance in human health.
