SEE ALSO...

PKC λ/ι Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PKC λ/ι in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PKC λ/ι (E-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PKC λ/ι, a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate essential processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. A C1 domain that binds diacylglycerol and phorbol esters allows PKC λ/ι to transduce signals in response to growth factors and other stimuli, making PKC λ/ι vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to external signals. Distinct expression patterns of PKC isoforms across different tissues highlight PKC λ/ι′s importance in specific cellular contexts, as PKC λ/ι activity can influence various downstream effects, including gene expression and metabolic regulation. Understanding PKC λ/ι function and regulation is essential for elucidating PKC λ/ι′s role in health and disease, particularly in cancer and other proliferative disorders.
