Piperacillin is a semisynthetic penicillin with wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity, particularly pseudomonas strains. Piperacillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the penicillin class. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the elimination of various bacterial infections.
