SEE ALSO...

PI 3-kinase C2β Antibody (16L9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PI 3-kinase C2β in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PI 3-kinase C2β antibody (16L9) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. PI 3-kinase C2β, also known as p110-β, is a crucial component of the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI 3-K) family, which plays a significant role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and survival. PI 3-kinase C2β is composed of 1,070 amino acids and phosphorylates the 3′-OH position of inositol lipids, thereby influencing various cellular processes. PI 3-kinase C2β modulates the formation and stability of integrin adhesion bonds, specifically α2B (ITGA2B) and β3 (ITGB3), which are vital for platelet activation in response to shear forces. PI 3-kinase C2β interaction with these integrins underscores its importance in hemostasis and thrombosis, making PI 3-kinase C2β a key target for research in cardiovascular diseases and platelet function.

I am using PI 3-kinase C2β (16L9): sc-100407 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
