Phenazine ethosulfate is an intermediate used to detect nitric oxide reducatase activity in concert with Ascorbic Acid (sc-202686). Phenazine ethosulfate is a cationic dye. Phenazine ethosulfate is a chemical electron acceptor. Phenazine ethosulfate can be used in dye-linked enzyme assays. Phenazine ethosulfate can also be used to test and validate a fluorescence approach to quantify lipid content of bovine blastocysts and oocytes.
