Phemx Antibody (FF-37) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Phemx protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Phemx antibody (FF-37) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. Phemx, also known as pan-hematopoietic expression protein, PHMX, TSPAN32, or TSSC6, is a crucial member of the tetraspanin family, which plays a significant role in transmembrane signal transduction, cell proliferation, differentiation, and motility. Structurally, Phemx is a multi-pass membrane protein characterized by intracellular N- and C-terminal domains, four transmembrane domains, and two extracellular loops, which are essential for cellular signaling pathways. Phemx is ubiquitously expressed from early embryogenesis through adulthood, with predominant expression in hematopoietic tissues, indicating a vital role in hematopoietic cell function. Phemx interacts with the Integrin αIIb/Integrin β3 complex, which is critical for stabilizing arterial thrombi in platelets and regulating "outside-in" signaling, processes that are important for wound healing. The gene encoding Phemx is located in a significant tumor-suppressor gene region associated with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome and various cancers, highlighting potential implications in tumor biology and therapeutic strategies.
