    SEE ALSO...

PET112L Antibody (47.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PET112L protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PET112L antibody (47.1) is available as the non-conjugated format. PET112L, also known as HSPC199 or Glu-ADT subunit B (glutamyl-tRNA(Gln) amidotransferase subunit B), consists of 557 amino acids and belongs to the GatB/gatE family of proteins, specifically the GatB subfamily. PET112L is crucial for mitochondrial gene translation, which is essential for proper mitochondrial function and energy metabolism. PET112L is localized in the mitochondria, particularly in tissues such as the heart and muscle, where oxidative phosphorylation is highly active. PET112L′s function is vital for energy production, as any disruption in mitochondrial gene expression can lead to metabolic disorders. Notably, PET112L has been found to be overexpressed in recurrent ependymoma, highlighting potential relevance in cancer biology and as a target for therapeutic intervention.
