PE-1 Antibody (ETV3F4D10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PE-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-PE-1 antibody (ETV3F4D10) is available as non-conjugated format. PE-1 protein, also known as PU-Ets related-1 or ETV3 (ETS translocation variant 3), belongs to the ETS family of transcription factors, characterized by a highly conserved DNA binding domain. PE-1 functions primarily as a transcriptional repressor, playing a crucial role in regulating growth factor pathways that control cellular proliferation and differentiation. PE-1 shows ubiquitous expression and predominantly localizes in the nucleus, where interleukin-10 can induce PE-1 through the STAT3 signaling pathway, contributing to anti-inflammatory effects associated with IL-10. During terminal cell differentiation, PE-1 participates in growth arrest by specifically repressing target genes linked to Ras-dependent proliferation, with anti-proliferative effects significantly influenced by interaction with Gemin3. Two isoforms of PE-1 exist due to alternative splicing, which may have distinct functional roles in cellular processes.
