    SEE ALSO...

PDILT Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects PDILT protein of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PDILT antibody (H-5) is available as a non-conjugated format. PDILT protein, also known as protein disulfide-isomerase-like protein of the testis or PDIA7, is a 584 amino acid protein localized in the endoplasmic reticulum, where PDILT plays a crucial role as a redox-inactive chaperone during spermatogenesis. PDILT protein is specifically expressed in the testis and exists as a homodimer, undergoing post-translational N-glycosylation, which is essential for stability and function. PDILT protein interacts with other proteins such as Calmegin and Ero1-L, which are involved in proper folding and maturation of proteins within the testicular environment. PDILT gene is located on human chromosome 16p12.3, a region that harbors over 900 genes and is implicated in various genetic disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. Understanding PDILT interactions and functions is vital for elucidating mechanisms of spermatogenesis and potential implications in male fertility.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393529 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
