SEE ALSO...

Pdcd2L Antibody (K-13) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Pdcd2L in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Pdcd2L antibody (K-13) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a versatile tool for studying this important protein. Pdcd2L, also known as programmed cell death 2-like, consists of 358 amino acids and shares significant homology with Pdcd-2, a protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis. Pdcd2L monoclonal antibody (K-13) recognizes a protein primarily expressed in the placenta, heart, pancreas, lung, and liver, with lower levels found in the spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus. Pdcd2L expression is crucial as this protein may play a role in modulating apoptotic pathways, which are vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing uncontrolled cell proliferation. Understanding Pdcd2L function and interactions within apoptotic signaling networks can provide insights into various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders, making Pdcd2L (K-13) antibody an essential reagent for researchers investigating these critical biological processes.

Hi there, I am curious as to what the sequence of the antibody is for Pdcd2L Antibody (K-13): sc-101251. We are trying to use a peptide control. Thank you, Brendan

Asked by: Brendan1
Thank you for your question. This antibody, sc-101251, was raised against recombinant Pdcd2L of human origin spanning amino acids 80-179. Since it is not a peptide antibody, and the epitope location has not been mapped, you will not be able to do a peptide neutralization unless you epitope map the antibody. I would suggest using a normal mouse IgG for a negative control.

I am using Pdcd2L (K-13): sc-101251 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
