    SEE ALSO...

pan MRGX Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects pan MRGX protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). pan MRGX (F-1) antibody is available as the non-conjugated form. The Mas-related G protein-coupled receptor member X1 (MRGX) plays a crucial role in the sensory nervous system, particularly in nociceptive neurons, which are responsible for the perception of pain. This integral membrane protein is not only essential for the modulation of pain but also influences the development of nociceptors, thereby impacting pain sensitivity and response. The MRGX family consists of four members (MRGX1-4), with MRGX1 and MRGX2 receptors activating both Gα q- and Gα i-regulated pathways, while MRGX3 and MRGX4 primarily engage Gα q-regulated pathways. The activation of Gα q proteins is vital as it triggers calcium signaling, a key process in neuronal communication and pain signaling. Notably, MRGX receptors are uniquely expressed in a specific subset of small dorsal root and trigeminal sensory neurons, highlighting their specialized function in pain pathways and making them significant targets for research into pain modulation and sensory neuron development.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393652 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen.
