Pan CEA Antibody (HEA19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in human samples through applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-CEA antibody (HEA19) is particularly valuable in clinical diagnostics, as CEA serves as a crucial tumor marker for various carcinomas, aiding in monitoring cancer progression and treatment response. CEA (HEA19) monoclonal antibody recognizes proteins primarily located on the cell surface, where CEA plays a significant role in cell adhesion and signaling, essential for maintaining tissue architecture and facilitating communication between cells. CEA (HEA19) antibody targets proteins whose altered expression can influence tumor behavior, including metastasis and immune evasion, making CEA a key target for therapeutic interventions. CEA belongs to the CEACAM family, involved in diverse biological processes such as angiogenesis and immune modulation, further underscoring CEA′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states. Human CEACAM proteins are encoded by genes clustered on chromosome 19, highlighting their evolutionary conservation and relevance in human health.
