PACE4 Antibody (2D6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PACE4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PACE4 antibody (2D6) is available as a non-conjugated format. PACE4, a member of the subtilisin-like prohormone convertase family, plays a crucial role in processing prohormones and other precursor proteins into active forms, essential for various physiological processes, including hormone regulation and neuropeptide activation. Located primarily in the trans-Golgi network, PACE4 is involved in the secretory pathway, where PACE4 cleaves proproteins to generate biologically active peptides and proteins. This localization ensures efficient substrate access during hormone and neuropeptide maturation and secretion, influencing numerous signaling pathways and biological functions. PACE4 interacts with other proteins in the convertase family, such as furin and PC1/3, underscoring PACE4′s importance in proprotein processing and cellular signaling.
