OY-TES-1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OY-TES-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). OY-TES-1 (G-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OY-TES-1, also known as acrosin binding protein (ACRBP) or SP32, is a 543 amino acid secreted protein primarily located on sperm acrosomes, where OY-TES-1 colocalizes with Acrosin. Such localization plays a significant role in packaging and condensing Acrosin within the acrosomal matrix, essential for sperm function and fertilization. Beyond expression in normal testicular tissue, OY-TES-1 is found in various cancer tissues, including breast, bladder, liver, and lung carcinomas, indicating a potential role in tumor formation and metastasis. OY-TES-1 encoding gene is located on human chromosome 12, a region associated with numerous diseases and genetic disorders, highlighting OY-TES-1′s importance in reproductive biology, cancer research, and therapeutic development.
