SEE ALSO...

Ox40L Antibody (RR19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human Ox40L by immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Ox40L antibody (RR19) is available as a non-conjugated format. Ox40L, also known as gp34, is a type II membrane protein characterized by the absence of a signal peptide, which is crucial for function as a costimulatory molecule within the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily. Ox40L plays a vital role in mediating interactions between dendritic cells and T cells, facilitating T cell homing, and promoting B cell activation. Ox40L engagement with Ox40 receptor provides a potent costimulatory signal essential for activation and proliferation of effector T cells. Ox40L is predominantly expressed on activated B cells, while Ox40 receptor is found on activated T cells, highlighting this interaction′s importance in immune response. Ox40L is integral to antigen-specific T cell responses in vivo, influencing both priming and effector phases of T cell activation when presented on antigen-presenting cells (APCs). Understanding Ox40L dynamics and interactions is crucial for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating immune responses in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-80271 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: jenniferc
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
