Ox40 Antibody (OX86) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Ox40 in mouse samples through applications such as immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM). Ox40, also known as CD134 or Ox40R, plays a crucial role in the immune response by regulating the activation and differentiation of CD4+ T lymphocytes. anti-Ox40 antibody (OX86) recognizes a protein primarily located on the surface of activated CD4+ T cells, where Ox40 interacts with its ligand, Ox40L, predominantly expressed on activated B cells. The engagement of Ox40 with Ox40L provides a vital costimulatory signal that enhances T cell activation, promoting effective immune responses. This interaction is particularly important for the generation of robust T helper cell responses, which are essential for orchestrating adaptive immunity and ensuring the body can effectively combat infections and maintain tissue homeostasis. Given Ox40′s significant role in T cell regulation and involvement in various immunological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and inflammatory responses, Ox40 (OX86) monoclonal antibody serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying T cell dynamics and therapeutic interventions in these areas.
