OTUB1 Antibody (J-61) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects OTUB1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). OTUB1, also known as OTB1, OTU1, HSPC263, or Otubain-1, is a 271 amino acid protein characterized by one OTU (ovarian tumor) domain, classifying OTUB1 within the OTU family of predicted cysteine proteases. OTUB1 functions as a hydrolase that removes ubiquitin residues from target proteins, preventing their degradation and facilitating proper protein turnover.
