Olomoucine II is a selective inhibitor of Cdk1(CDK1)/cyclin B (IC50 = 20 nM). Olomoucine II is a potent cytotoxin in tumor cells: IC50 = 5.3 μM against MCF7 cells, IC50 = 11.1 μM against K562 cells, IC50 = 3.0 μM against CEM cells, IC50 = 6.3 μM against HOS cells, and IC50 = 6.3 μM against G361 cells.
