QUICK LINKS

Oleandomycin phosphate is a naturally occurring antibiotic compound that is produced by a variety of bacteria, including Streptomyces oleovorans, Streptomyces lividans, and Streptomyces roseochromogenes. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of proteins by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit and the 23S rRNA in the ribosome. In addition to its antibiotic effects, Oleandomycin phosphate has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and anti-viral properties. It is used in a variety of scientific research applications, such as in the study of the structure and function of cell membranes, proteins, enzymes, and other biomolecules.
