QUICK LINKS

Octyl α-D-glucopyranoside is a non-ionic detergent with multiple potential applications. It is a non-denaturing, mild detergent agent that solubilizes and purifies brush border membranes proteins. It improves selectivity of phosphotyrosine modified proteins immunoprecipitation. It has been used in a study to assess mesogenic structures with interdigitizing alkyl chains. It has also been used in a study to investigate a recirculation procedure involving water removal by product crystallization.
