(+)-O,O′-Diacetyl-L-tartaric anhydride is a structural analog of tartaric acid, which is a dicarboxylic acid found in many plants. (+)-O,O′-Diacetyl-L-tartaric anhydride is a chiral reagent for chiral derivatization.
