NUDE1 Antibody (36-T) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NUDE1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NUDE1 antibody (36-T) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. NUDE1, or Nuclear Distribution Protein nudE homolog 1, is a 346 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a critical role in cell division and neuronal development. NUDE1 is a member of the nudE protein family, which includes NUDE1 and NDEL1, and is essential for the formation and function of the mitotic spindle during the M phase of the cell cycle. NUDE1 is phosphorylated during mitosis, which is crucial for regulating Dynein-mediated transport of kinetochore proteins and centrosome duplication during interphase. NUDE1 interacts with several key proteins, including NDEL1, LIS1, and Dynein IC1/2, forming a signaling pathway that is vital for the proper development of the cerebral cortex. Mutations in NUDE1 can lead to significant developmental issues, such as reduced cerebral cortex size due to defects in mitotic progression and chromosomal localization of cortical progenitors. NUDE1 is expressed in two isoforms produced by alternative splicing of the primary gene transcript, highlighting its complex regulation and functional diversity in cellular processes.
