    SEE ALSO...

NT5DC1 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NT5DC1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NT5DC1 (B-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NT5DC1, also known as 5′-nucleotidase domain-containing protein 1, consists of 455 amino acids and is a member of the 5′(3′)-deoxyribonucleotidase family, playing a crucial role in nucleotide metabolism by catalyzing the hydrolysis of nucleotides to nucleosides and inorganic phosphate. This enzymatic activity is vital for maintaining cellular nucleotide pools, which are essential for DNA and RNA synthesis, thus influencing cell proliferation and survival. The gene encoding NT5DC1 is located on human chromosome 6q22.1, a region that is significant not only for its involvement in various genetic disorders but also for its association with cancer susceptibility, as deletions in this area have been linked to early onset intestinal cancer. Understanding NT5DC1 function and role in nucleotide metabolism can provide insights into therapeutic targets for diseases related to nucleotide imbalances, including certain cancers and metabolic disorders.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with NT5DC1 (B-3): sc-398165?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
