    SEE ALSO...

NPEPL1 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects NPEPL1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NPEPL1, also known as aminopeptidase-like 1, is a 523 amino acid protein belonging to the peptidase M17 family, and plays a crucial role in processing and degrading intracellular proteins by catalyzing the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal amino acids from various peptides. This function maintains cellular homeostasis and regulates protein turnover, which is essential for various physiological processes, including hormone regulation and metabolic pathways. NPEPL1 is ubiquitously expressed and features several zinc-binding sites, which are important for enzymatic activity, and exists in three isoforms due to alternative splicing events, allowing for functional diversity in different cellular contexts. anti-NPEPL1 antibody (B-12) provides a reliable tool for researchers studying protein metabolism dynamics and aminopeptidase activity implications in health and disease.

I am using NPEPL1 (B-12): sc-100556 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
