Is the antibody compatible with the secondary antibody (sc-516102)?

We have two different lots numbers for sc-2025.  Which is newer?  J1518 or G2020?  We are having an issue with G2020 giving us a positive signal in an immunoprecipitation that used to be negative and are trying to figure out what is going on.

Hello, Can you please let me know how much dilution of normal mouse IgG: sc-2025 is recommended for ChIP experiments?

You can find our recommended ChIP protocol under this link: https://www.scbt.com/resources/protocols/chromatin-immunoprecipitation-assays The recommended amount of antibody for ChIP experiments is 1-2 μg (2,5-5 µl of normal mouse IgG: sc-2025) per 100-500 μg total protein (1 ml cell lysate).
