QUICK LINKS

NOR-4 is a nitric oxide (NO) donating compound which releases NO in a rate-controlled manner. This compound is described to have an NO release half-life of 60 minutes in solution. NOR-4 has been demonstrated as a useful tool for investigating the in vitro actions of NO. NORs release NO at a steady rate, although the mechanism of release is not yet known.
