QUICK LINKS

NOC-7 is a nitric oxide (NO) donor similar to NOC-5 (sc-202248) but with a much shorter half-life of NO release. Half-life (t½) in PBS, pH 7.4 is 10 minutes at 22°C. NOC-7 may act to be useful as a short-acting nitrovasodilator. NOC-7 is known to be relatively stable in alkaline solution (pH ≥10.0).
