    SEE ALSO...

Nkx-2.3 Antibody (4F4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Nkx-2.3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Nkx-2.3 antibody (4F4) is available as a non-conjugated format. Nkx-2.3 plays a crucial role in heart development, particularly during early stages of cardiac formation, where Nkx-2.3 acts as a transcriptional activator. This function helps regulate gene expression necessary for proper differentiation and proliferation of myocardial cells. Nkx-2.3 is primarily expressed in differentiated myocardial cells and is also found in gut mesoderm, brachial arches, tongue epithelium, and developing jaws. Nkx-2.3 contains a homeobox and a conserved NK2 domain, which are essential for transcriptional regulation. Abnormal expression levels of Nkx-2.3 can lead to significant cardiac anomalies, such as an enlarged heart due to increased myocardial thickness resulting from a higher number of myocardial cells. This underscores Nkx-2.3′s importance in maintaining normal cardiac structure and function, making anti-Nkx-2.3 antibody (4F4) a valuable tool for researchers studying heart development and related pathologies.
