NFATc2 Antibody (1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NFATc2 in human and canine samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). NFATc2, a crucial member of the NFAT family of transcription factors, plays a significant role in regulating cytokine gene expression in T cells, which is vital for the immune response. Upon T cell receptor activation, NFATc2 translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, where NFATc2 collaborates with AP-1 transcription factors to initiate the transcription of various cytokine genes, thereby influencing T cell activation and differentiation. NFATc2′s importance extends beyond transcriptional activity; NFATc2 is also involved in the modulation of immune responses and has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer.
