QUICK LINKS

A cell-permeable thiazole compound that acts as a potent and selective inducer of neuronal differentiation. Shown to induce the differentiation of adult neural progenitor HCN cells into mature neurons (10 µM for 10 days) and competitively suppress astrogliogenesis by LIF/BMP2/FBS in a dose-dependent manner. Reported to be non-cytotoxic and a more selective differentiation inducer than trans-retinoic acid (Cat. No. 554720).
