Naltriben methanesulfonate is a highly selective DOR (delta2 opioid receptor) antagonist. Ligand binding assays show biphasic binding of the antagonist to the single receptor type. Naltriben methanesulfonate is a highly effective and specific inhibitor of Bruton′s tyrosine kinase (BTK), which effectively hinders the activation of B-cells. This compound serves as a valuable research tool for investigating the role of BTK in various cellular processes, including the examination of peptides and proteins that interact with this kinase. Additionally, it exhibits inhibitory properties against protein interactions involving the receptor for advanced glycation endproducts (RAGE).
