NALP5 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects NALP5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NALP5 (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NALP5 protein, also known as MATER, plays a crucial role in early embryonic development, acting as a maternal effect protein essential for proper progression of embryogenesis. NALP5 protein is characterized by its unique structure, which includes a C-terminal leucine-rich repeat (LRR) region, an N-terminal pyrin domain, and a NACHT domain, all contributing to regulatory functions in apoptosis and inflammatory signaling pathways. Human NALP5 protein, consisting of approximately 1,200 amino acids, shares 53% sequence identity with its mouse counterpart, and the gene encoding NALP5 is located on chromosome 19q13.4. Anti-NALP5 antibody (C-3) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying intricate mechanisms of embryonic development and broader implications of NALP family proteins in cellular signaling.
