N,N′-Dicyclohexyl-4-morpholinecarboxamidine (DCM) is an organic compound belonging to the morpholine family of compounds. It has a wide range of applications in the scientific field. It is used as a reagent in organic synthesis, as a catalyst in chemical reactions, and as a ligand in coordination chemistry. It is also used in biochemistry and molecular biology as a chelating agent, as well as in the production of pesticides and other industrial chemicals. N,N′-Dicyclohexyl-4-morpholinecarboxamidine is an effective inhibitor of certain enzymes, such as acetylcholinesterase, which is involved in neurotransmitter regulation.
