MYL1 Antibody (L-13) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects MYL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-MYL1 antibody (L-13) is available as a non-conjugated format. MYL1, also known as Myosin light chain 3, skeletal muscle isoform, plays a crucial role in muscle contraction, particularly in fast skeletal muscle, where MYL1 is essential for the regulation of myosin activity. MYL1 protein is a hexameric ATPase motor protein composed of two heavy chains and a combination of two nonphosphorylatable alkali light chains and two phosphorylatable regulatory light chains.
