Mycophenolic Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide, also known as Mycophenolic acid acyl glucuronide, is synthesized through the process of glucuronidation, wherein the enzyme UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) facilitates the transfer of a glucuronic acid component from UDP-glucuronic acid (UDP-GA) to MPA. This reaction results in the formation of Mycophenolic Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide. Furthermore, Mycophenolic Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide can be synthesized in vitro by using recombinant UGT enzymes. Mycophenolic Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects.
