Moricizine Hydrochloride is a quinidine derivative that shares structural similarities with procainamide and lidocaine. Its mechanism of action involves the blockage of sodium channels, which slows down the depolarization of cardiac cells, leading to a decreased conduction rate of electrical impulses. Additionally, Moricizine Hydrochloride blocks potassium channels, which results in a reduced repolarization rate of cardiac cell.
