MOB2 Antibody (2400C3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects MOB2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). MOB2 Antibody (2400C3a) is available as anti-MOB2 antibody (2400C3a) without conjugation. MOB2, also known as Mps one binder kinase activator-like 2 or HCCA2 (Hepatocellular carcinoma-associated gene 2), is a 268 amino acid protein belonging to the MOB1/phocein family, which plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation. MOB2 is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the lung, spleen, brain, and fetal liver, with particularly high levels found in hepatocellular carcinoma. MOB2 localizes in the perinuclear region of the cytoplasm in liver cancer tissues and colocalizes with MAD2L2 in the nucleus of HeLa cells, underscoring its significance in cellular processes. MOB2 is characterized by two N-glycosylation sites, six N-myristoylation sites, and several phosphorylation motifs, indicating involvement in intracellular signaling pathways. MOB2 interacts with and regulates the autophosphorylation of related serine/threonine kinases, NDR1 and NDR2, highlighting essential function in modulating cell proliferation.
