QUICK LINKS

Mn-cpx 3 is a cell-permeable manganese complex of 7-hydroxyflavone that acts as a superoxide dismustase (SOD) mimetic and a neuroprotective agent against radical-induced damages. Shown to prevent the reduction of NBT by O2– • (IC50 = 1.18 μM) and exhibit ~10 times higher potency than Trolox in inhibiting lipid peroxidation (IC50 = 6.15 μM) in vitro.
